Fjordens Jagtforening is a local Danish hunting association formed by the merger of Hemmet-Sdr. Vium Jagtforening and Lønborg-Vostrup Jagtforening. With approximately 280 members, it provides opportunities for hunting, clay shooting and shared outdoor activities in the area around Ringkøbing Fjord.

The association rents Styg Plantage, a privately owned woodland of about 60 hectares between Vostrup and Hemmet. Members can buy permits for spring roe deer hunting and, from August, for deer hunting and other hunting in accordance with current laws. The association also arranges five or six group hunts during the winter season.

For practice, it operates a small clay shooting range near Sdr. Vium, equipped with two machines for launching clays. Members may borrow either of the association’s two boats for hunting throughout Ringkøbing Fjord. Fjordens Jagtforening also rents Høje Sande from the municipality, a small sand island off Skaven Strand, where hunting permits are available during the hunting season. Its website shares association news, calendars, activity information, governance details and a photo gallery.
