Lehigh Valley Steel Basketball Club (LVSBC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth basketball organization based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and an AAU member club. It works to develop student-athletes’ athletic and academic skills through training and competition, while encouraging teamwork, discipline, respect, integrity, responsibility, and good sportsmanship. The club fields age-group teams that compete in AAU tournaments, other basketball tournaments, and leagues.
LVSBC’s current Class of 2032 boys team includes sixth- and seventh-grade players from across the Lehigh Valley, with students from six high school feeder communities: Bethlehem Catholic, Easton, Liberty, Northampton, Parkland, and Southern Lehigh. The organization aims to support young athletes who want to play basketball while continuing to participate in other spring sports. Its approach includes basketball training and primarily local tournament opportunities, scheduled where possible to avoid conflicts with those activities.
The club also offers ways for supporters to donate or pay fees, learn about schedules and team highlights, and contact the organization.
