LVWB

LV Wettingen-Baden (LVWB) is an athletics club based in Wettingen, Switzerland, promoting track and field for both performance and recreational sport. Founded in 1973, the club welcomes athletes across age groups, from children and teenagers to adults, and supports development from introductory training through competition at national level. Its activities span running, sprinting, jumping and throwing, with an emphasis on enjoyment, health, teamwork, fairness and progress.

LVWB offers organized training led by qualified coaches, with groups for younger athletes, adolescents, juniors and adults. Facilities include six-lane outdoor tracks at Stadion Aue for summer training, a well-equipped indoor running corridor and jumping pit at Tägi for winter sessions, and strength-training rooms available year-round. Prospective members can register for a trial training session, although sessions are currently unavailable for U10 and U12 athletes. The club also shares news, competition results, athlete profiles, events and club information, and celebrates members’ achievements at regional and national meets.
