Laguna Woods Village Rod & Gun Club is a co-ed community club offering fellowship, instruction, and skill-building for people interested in fishing, target shooting, and related sports. Membership is open to Laguna Woods Village residents, with non-residents also eligible within Village guidelines. The annual membership fee is $50, and members are encouraged to bring guests to activities.

The club organizes freshwater fishing outings and regular ocean fishing charters departing from Dana Point Harbor in partnership with Dana Wharf Sportfishing. Charters generally run once or twice a month, with occasional special two-day and overnight trips. Members can also take part in target shooting twice monthly at OnTarget’s indoor range in Orange County. Activities include safety and etiquette guidance, access to NRA-certified training staff, and intra-club shooting competitions.

Regular luncheons and meetings provide opportunities to connect, hear presentations, and learn about upcoming events. The club maintains an event calendar and member directory, and welcomes prospective members to attend a meeting and explore its application materials, fishing guidelines, and other club resources.
