A popular auction house in Lymington which closed down in March has been saved by a father and son. The premises, in Emsworth Road, were formerly run by George Kidner and had been an auction house for over 50 years. The new owners are vintage toy specialist Nick Powner and his son James Powner. Nick will continue to run his toy-dealing business Abbey Models, which is based in Christchurch.
