Lyons is an Irish tea brand founded in 1902 on Dublin’s High Street. From its beginnings near Christchurch Cathedral, the company focused on blending quality tea to suit Ireland’s limestone-rich water. Today, Lyons celebrates tea as more than a drink: its “Puts the Talk Into Tea” purpose encourages people to make time for genuine conversation, whether sharing small talk, having a meaningful discussion, or simply checking in over a cup.
The brand offers several tea blends. Lyons Original is described as smooth, with a distinctive refreshing aroma, while Lyons Gold has a rich golden colour, delicate floral aroma, and indulgent flavour. Lyons Decaf provides a similar smooth, refreshing taste and signature aroma without caffeine. The company highlights its Original Blend as Ireland’s favourite and says its tea is sustainably sourced and sold in plant-based teabags.
Lyons is part of the Lipton Teas and Infusions portfolio, alongside brands including Pukka, T2, PG Tips, and TAZO. Through its products and storytelling, Lyons connects everyday tea drinking with Irish heritage and shared moments.
