Lystfiskergaarden

Lystfiskergaarden is a family-run fishing destination in Roust, Jutland, set among green, scenic surroundings. The site has two fishing lakes, open daily from sunrise to sunset, with opportunities to fish for sturgeon, trout, carp and other species. The smaller lake is stocked with rainbow trout, brown trout, char, eel and carp, while the larger lake is used for sturgeon and carp fishing. Fishing is designed to offer a genuine challenge, supported by clear water, varied depths and attention to fish welfare and natural habitat.

Visitors can purchase fishing permits for sessions ranging from a few hours to multiple days, with separate rates for sturgeon fishing and additional rods. The operation is largely self-service, though staff can be contacted by phone or email. Facilities by the lakes include toilets, a fish-cleaning house, and options for freezing or smoking catches. On-site accommodation includes rooms with private bathrooms and refrigerators, plus a shared kitchen, lounge and terrace with barbecue facilities. The guest rooms are about 100 metres from the fishing lake.
