Taekwon-do Ma-Ryuk

Ma-Ryuk Gennep is a Taekwon-do club in Gennep, Netherlands, dedicated to helping people of all ages build physical skills and personal confidence through Korean martial arts. Founded in 1969, the club has been led since 2005 by Wouter and Bram, internationally recognized instructors who each hold a fourth-dan Taekwon-do rank. Its training combines kicking and jumping techniques with arm techniques, while emphasizing self-defense, self-control, perseverance, fitness, flexibility, balance, coordination, reaction and speed.

Ma-Ryuk offers lessons for different age groups, with personal guidance that allows each student to progress at their own pace, both physically and mentally. The club places particular importance on resilience, confidence, effective technique, respect, discipline and good conduct in and outside the training hall. Members can visit during training hours to observe, ask questions or join a session, without making an appointment. A free trial lesson is also available for those interested in getting started. Alongside regular training, the club organizes activities such as outdoor sessions and group outings.
