Macabrista

Motorista Studio is a Toronto venue and creative host presenting Macabrista, an annual Halloween feast and market that brings together art, music, food, and seasonal entertainment. Held at the studio on Commercial Road in Leaside, the five-day event invites visitors to explore a nocturnal market featuring 50 artisan vendors, alongside art and light installations created by the Motorista Creative Society. Live musicians perform each evening from 8 pm, and attractions include the Toronto Ghostbusters’ giant inflatable and Ecto-6IX car.

The event is free to enter and open to all ages, with free parking and wheelchair-accessible access. Visitors can also book a seat at the ticketed feast, served daily from 4 pm to 11 pm. Its cooking combines ancient pagan inspiration with modern cuisine; vegetarian plates are available, and ingredients are listed for each plate. Meals cost $35 per person or $100 for four, with drinks sold separately. Macabrista runs from October 25 to 29, 2026, with the market, installations, and other free activities open daily from 2 pm until midnight.
