Mac Carton

MacCarton creates cardboard construction models designed for families, classrooms, and anyone who enjoys making things together. Its range brings different places, periods, and ideas to life, with kits depicting subjects such as an ancient city, a Roman camp, the Great Wall of China, a Far West saloon, a windmill, and a wind turbine. There is also a pencil-holder house. Models vary in piece count, difficulty, and estimated building time, from simple projects taking a few hours to more demanding builds completed over several sessions.

Each kit includes pre-cut cardboard pieces and an assembly plan. Builders number, detach, fold, glue, and assemble the pieces using ordinary school glue, then personalize their creation with paint, markers, pencils, or stickers. Decoration files are available for some models. The finished pieces can be displayed, given as gifts, or shared with others. MacCarton presents its models as hands-on activities that encourage collaboration and creative learning, including classroom projects connected with history, construction, and renewable energy. The brand describes its models as made from recycled cardboard.
