Macedonian Festival

Macedonian Festival is a community celebration of Macedonian culture, heritage and traditions, proudly held by the Australian Macedonian Council of NSW. The 2026 festival takes place on Sunday, 15 November, from 10am to 7pm at Barton Park in Rockdale, Sydney. Welcoming people of all backgrounds, it brings together families, friends, local businesses, cultural clubs and anyone interested in Macedonian culture for a full day of activities and entertainment.

Visitors can enjoy live music and stage performances, traditional oro dancing, and Macedonian food and specialities, including grills, burek, pastries, desserts, coffee and refreshments. The festival also features bazaars, market and community stalls, workshops, a dedicated Kids Area, and a youth soccer game. An interactive site map helps guests locate facilities and attractions, including food stalls, toilets, first aid, entry points and parking. The event provides information about getting there by car or public transport, along with visitor guidance and festival updates. Local businesses can also explore sponsorship opportunities through the Australian Macedonian Council of NSW.
