Machida Squirrel Garden is a family-friendly leisure facility in Machida, Tokyo, where visitors can observe and interact with animals. Its main attraction is an open enclosure where approximately 200 Taiwan squirrels roam freely. Guests can feed the squirrels and watch them eat. The garden also offers opportunities to encounter other animals, including rabbits and turtles, providing children and families with a close-up animal experience.

The garden organizes seasonal events and educational activities. Programs featured on its website include guided tours of the squirrel enclosure led by keepers, rabbit observation sessions, and workshops to build nest boxes for the squirrels. Visitors can also find information about opening schedules, access, events, and visitor guidance, and browse original gifts. Machida Squirrel Garden welcomes individual visitors and groups; advance telephone reservations are required for groups of 20 or more, as well as certain school, childcare, and organizational groups. The garden explains that its squirrels are kept with official permission and shares guidance about responsible wildlife protection, including the rules that apply to non-native species.
