MACMA (Movimiento Ayuda Cáncer de Mama) is an Argentine nonprofit civil association founded 29 years ago by women who have experienced breast cancer. Working nationwide with organizations, businesses, and government, it supports women with a diagnosis and their families through guidance, emotional care, and access to reliable information. Its work also promotes early detection, breast health awareness, and overall well-being.
MACMA offers support groups, psychological and personal-development resources, information for families and caregivers, and talks about early detection. It also helps women access free mammograms and creates educational and community activities. Its #RosaTodoElAño campaign encourages awareness and early detection throughout the year, while events such as its benefit fashion show help support the organization’s work.
With active volunteers and support groups, MACMA seeks to expand access to care and create spaces for learning and mutual support. Individuals can contribute by donating, volunteering, or sharing information about its services; businesses can also collaborate.
