Mada is the world's Center of Excellence in digital access in Arabic. Founded in 2010, Mada is a private institution for public benefit that promotes digital inclusion and builds a technology-based community to meet the needs of persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Qatar. Today, Mada stands as the foremost Center of Excellence in digital access in Arabic, with Qatar ranking first globally on the Digital Accessibility Rights Evaluation Index (DARE) 2020.
Through strategic partnerships, Mada enables inclusive education, fosters inclusive communities through ICTs, and enhances employment opportunities, professional development, and entrepreneurship for PWDs. Mada achieves its goals by building partners' capabilities, supporting the development of digital platforms, and ensuring international standards of digital access. Mada also raises awareness, provides consulting services, and offers a wide range of assistive technology solutions in Arabic through the Mada Innovation Program, ensuring equal opportunities for PWDs in the digital society.
