About Safe at MADACC
MADACC is a leading animal care and control organization that aims to protect the health, public safety, and welfare of both people and animals in Milwaukee County. Established in 1999, MADACC provides a range of services to the community, including animal regulation and care, lost and found pet assistance, adoption programs, and volunteer and foster opportunities. As a governmental agency governed by a Board of Directors and Operations Committee, MADACC collaborates with 19 municipalities in Milwaukee County to offer effective and cost-efficient animal control services.
The organization ensures the safe sheltering, basic veterinary care, and humane treatment of over 12,000 stray, unwanted, abandoned, mistreated, and injured animals annually. MADACC also plays a vital role in facilitating the return of lost pets to their owners and promoting responsible companion animal ownership through education and licensing programs. Additionally, they seek responsible and safe placements for homeless animals and provide humane euthanasia when necessary.
If you're looking to make a positive impact on the lives of animals, support MADACC by donating, adopting, volunteering, or providing foster care. Visit their website for more information about their services and to view adoptable and lost animals
