Made by Ellen’s bakery began as a small sourdough operation in Ellen’s garage and is now based at Pieter Kiesstraat 78A in Haarlem. It sells handmade sourdough breads, cinnamon rolls, pizettes and other baked goods, along with good coffee. The bakery uses local, organic ingredients, and its breads are made by hand through a process lasting more than 24 hours to develop their flavour. Customers can place orders through the blog, while additional items are baked for walk-in sales. Through its recipes, baking and food recommendations, Made by Ellen celebrates fresh ingredients and accessible, enjoyable cooking.
