Madisonville Beach Cruisers is a community cycling group based in Madisonville, Louisiana, welcoming adults and riders of all bike types to enjoy relaxed rides around the Northshore and nearby areas. Its regular Bon Jeudi ride takes place on Thursday evenings, usually in Mandeville near the lakefront on Girod Street. The group also organizes occasional weekday and weekend rides, including outings elsewhere on the Northshore and in the French Quarter. Most participants ride beach cruisers, and the pace is intentionally slow and easy, with an occasional stop for a beer.

The site also shares information about the Covington Bicycle Club, which meets on the first and third Wednesday evenings of each month for rides in downtown Covington, starting at Brooks’ Bike Shop.
