MAF

The Mahmoud Abbas Foundation (MAF) is a registered, nonprofit charitable association established in 2011 in Palestine and Lebanon. It works to support Palestinian refugees in the diaspora, particularly residents of camps in Lebanon, by strengthening their capabilities and helping them meet challenging living conditions. Its programs combine education, family support, humanitarian assistance, and community development.

The Student Program provides full and partial scholarships for Palestinian students attending accredited universities and vocational institutes in Lebanon, while encouraging volunteering and community involvement. The Family Solidarity Program offers ongoing monthly assistance to around 500 Palestinian families, along with essential supplies, medical support, and psychosocial guidance. In Palestine, the Foundation carries out relief and development projects in Jerusalem and underserved areas of the West Bank and Gaza, including home repairs and educational, medical, and emergency assistance.

MAF also supports young people through workshops, vocational training, academic guidance, and entrepreneurship initiatives designed to help prepare them for employment.
