Magic City Books is an independent bookstore situated in the lively Tulsa Arts District in downtown Tulsa. As part of the Tulsa Literary Coalition, a nonprofit corporation, our mission is to foster a love of reading and build a community of book lovers in Tulsa. We offer a wide range of literary and popular fiction, as well as narrative nonfiction for adults. For children and teens, we have carefully curated sections as well.

At Magic City Books, we prioritize personalized service and are staffed by knowledgeable individuals who share a passion for reading. Additionally, Magic City Books is now the home of Booksmart Tulsa, known for its decade-long tradition of presenting author events in the area. Smaller events take place in our beautiful Algonquin Room, while larger events are held in collaboration with other venues in the community.
