Magoscar Lda. was a Madeira-based company founded in 1993 by Ekkehard Kutz and Antje Steltzer-Kutz. The founders established the business after their own experiences as rental-car customers on Madeira inspired them to pursue their ideas about quality and service.

The company’s website does not provide details about specific products, services, or locations, but its story is closely connected to car-rental experiences on the island. Magoscar thanked customers and visitors for their interest and marked the end of its business after 30 years. Its commercial activities officially ceased on October 31, 2023.

The closure announcement appears in German, English, Portuguese, French, and Spanish, reflecting the site’s multilingual communication. The company’s message recognizes the three decades of activity and is signed by co-founder Ekkehard Kutz on behalf of the Magoscar team. Magoscar is therefore presented as a long-running Madeira business shaped by its founders’ commitment to quality and service, though it is no longer operating
