The Medical Action Group (MAG) is an organization that was founded in November 1982 with a noble purpose in mind. During the Marcos Dictatorship, under the guidance of Dr. Mita Pardo de Tavera, a group of doctors joined forces to provide medical aid to victims of political repression and their families. They also worked closely with FLAG lawyers to document evidence of torture among political prisoners.

MAG's mission is to deliver appropriate health services to victims of human rights violations, regardless of gender, race, religion, or social status. They mobilize health professionals, students, and workers to provide aid and education to victims, turning them into advocates for human rights. MAG also collaborates with other organizations and networks to improve healthcare systems and achieve health equity.
