Magrathea Metals is a brand that is revolutionizing the production of structural metal by offering innovative solutions that significantly reduce both cost and environmental impact. With a strong focus on sustainability, Magrathea is addressing the pressing issue of carbon emissions caused by traditional steel and aluminum production, which account for 10% of global emissions. By harnessing the power of magnesium, a structural metal abundant in brine, Magrathea is able to produce metal without the need for environmentally damaging open pit mining.
Magnesium is not only abundant but also the lightest structural metal, making it a desirable choice for industries such as automotive manufacturing. In fact, more than 35 million Volkswagen vehicles have already demonstrated the suitability of magnesium for automotive use. Additionally, magnesium is the only truly circular structural metal that effectively sequesters carbon in the sea at the end of its life.
Magrathea is at the forefront of developing groundbreaking upgrades in magnesium production technology, paving the way for the era of electrification and decarbonization. By utilizing seawater, Magrathea has already successfully produced the first ingots of metal for the 21st century. Join Magrathea Metals in their mission to create metal without mining and be a part of the sustainable future
