Mahafestival

Maha is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Omaha, Nebraska. Our primary focus is on bringing people together and creating positive impacts in our home city. At Maha, we curate and produce cultural experiences that celebrate music and discovery.

Our flagship event is Maha Festival, a volunteer-powered celebration held every summer. Maha Festival has a rich history, starting as a humble music festival in 2009. Over the years, it has evolved into a multi-faceted community event, incorporating elements from Big Omaha, the region's renowned innovation and entrepreneurship conference.

Our future vision for Maha Festival is to continue evolving into an annual collection of experiences that showcase the diverse cultural aspects of our community and region. From live music performances, food & drink showcases, and art installations to film screenings, speaker events, and comedy shows, Maha Festival offers a broad mix of creative ventures. We also recognize the significance of the land on which Omaha stands, honoring the Omaha tribe and other displaced tribes in the region.

Whether you're interested in volunteering, supporting us through donations, or simply attending our events, Maha offers numerous ways to get involved. Join us on this exciting journey of music, culture, and community
