Mahone Bay Tourism & Chamber of Commerce promotes Mahone Bay, a small town on Nova Scotia’s South Shore, about an hour southwest of Halifax. The organization helps visitors discover the town’s sheltered harbour, 365 islands, historic Three Churches view, and welcoming Main Street, while supporting the local business community.

Visitors can explore local artisans, independent shops, bookshops, cafés, bakeries, restaurants, pubs, and a craft brewery. Outdoor activities include paddling among the islands, boating at the civic marina, and walking or cycling the Rum Runners Trail. The Chamber also shares information about tours, museums, attractions, accommodations, and local services.

Its staffed Visitor Information Centre offers maps, walking-tour brochures, regional guides, public washrooms, free Wi-Fi, device charging, and local products. The town’s seasonal events include the Scarecrow Festival, the winter Season of Father Christmas, and summer live music.

Through its business directory, marketing, advocacy, networking, and membership program, the Chamber supports more than 60 local businesses and helps connect residents and visitors with the community.
