About Malaysia Aerospace Industry Association
The Malaysia Aerospace Industry Association (MAIA) is the leading voice of the aerospace industry in Malaysia. Launched in March 2016, MAIA represents its members to the Government and the global industry, offering a platform to network, create new business development opportunities, and foster dialogue among industry players. The association comprises top management of member companies who work together to draw guidelines for the industry, with a focus on capacity development and international market penetration.
MAIA addresses members' issues and concerns through its six Technical Sub-committees, which drive activities in the association. These sub-committees cover areas such as Manufacturing, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), Human Capital, Research & Technology (R&T), Small & Medium-Sized Enterprises, and Drone/Urban Air Mobility (UAM). With the goal of growing the aerospace industry in Malaysia, MAIA promotes the sector and engages effectively with the Government.
