MaikeMachtMut

MaikeMachtMut is the personal doula and coaching practice of Maike Bauermann, supporting people through fertility journeys, pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. Based in Neuss, Maike offers one-to-one birth support in Neuss, Kaarst, Mönchengladbach and Düsseldorf, as well as online sessions to help clients prepare mentally for birth and approach it with greater confidence. Her continuous doula companionship is tailored to each person’s needs and may include listening, encouragement and support in expressing birth preferences, including in hospital settings.

The practice also supports people experiencing an unfulfilled desire to have a child, offering a compassionate space to talk through difficult emotions and consider what support is needed. For self-employed expectant parents, Maike provides individual online coaching on balancing pregnancy, birth preparation and the postpartum period with business responsibilities. Her services also include support for mothers returning to work, such as identifying strengths, updating a résumé and preparing for interviews. Maike trained as a birth doula in 2021 and shares practical guidance and uplifting inspiration through her newsletter and online content.
