Clix is a Portuguese email service, managed by SOOMA and associated with NOS, drawing on more than 25 years of experience providing email in Portugal. Its personal email offering is designed around privacy, with no advertising in the inbox and no analysis of users’ emails for advertising purposes. The service is intended to give customers control over their information, without long-term commitments; subscribers can cancel whenever they choose.

Clix offers mailbox plans with 5 GB, 50 GB or 100 GB of storage, along with generous limits for sending and receiving large attachments. Email can be accessed through webmail and synchronized across devices using POP3, IMAP and PushMail. Security measures include storage in secure data centres in Portugal, encryption, active antivirus and anti-spam protection, and optional S/MIME support. The service also highlights 99.9% availability and support from a Portuguese-speaking team. Clix presents its offering as a straightforward alternative to advertising-supported free email, combining privacy, flexible storage and essential email features.
