Mailborder

Mailborder is an email security brand focused on filtering threats before they reach an organization’s inboxes. Its products inspect inbound email for spam, viruses, malware, phishing, ransomware, and other risks, helping protect existing email servers and hosted services. The Mailborder Email Gateway is Linux-based software that organizations can install on compatible systems, including virtual machines and supported cloud platforms. Its web interface allows administrators to configure and manage email flow without extensive Linux expertise, and installation includes a free 30-day trial with no registration required.

For organizations that prefer not to operate their own servers, Mailborder also offers a hosted email-filtering service. This SaaS option provides spam and virus filtering without the overhead of managing the server platform. Features across its solutions include configurable spam detection, support for up to three virus scanners, geographic blocking, address and domain allowlists and blocklists, email archiving, and protection against sender spoofing. Mailborder is compatible with a range of email systems, including Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Zimbra, and iRedMail.
