Mailhost is a privacy-focused email provider offering personal and business email with encryption built in. Its free plan includes a mailhost.vip address, 5 GB of encrypted storage, end-to-end encryption, and access through web and mobile apps, with no ads, tracking, or data selling. Paid Personal and Business plans add custom domains, increased storage, aliases, IMAP and SMTP access, calendars and contacts, shared inboxes, and administrative controls. Enterprise services include SSO, compliance options, private-cloud or on-premises deployment, and dedicated support.

Mailhost says messages are encrypted on users’ devices, so its servers store ciphertext rather than readable email. The service also offers a fast progressive web app, native iOS and Android apps, spam filtering, labels, folders, rules, and on-device email categorization. Users can connect standard mail clients through Mailhost Bridge and sync calendars and contacts using CalDAV and CardDAV. The company describes its cryptographic code and apps as open source and says it commissions annual independent security audits.
