About Mainbrella
Mainbrella provides cloud-based Linux workspaces for AI agents, coding tools, evaluations, and automated tasks. Operated by Andrew Arrow as Mainbrella Co. in Culver City, California, the service lets developers create isolated containers, run shell commands, install tools, and transfer files through an HTTP API.
Workspaces are also accessible through SSH or a browser terminal, and customers can choose from five machine sizes and available runtime images. Mainbrella supports workflows from workspace creation through execution, file handling, and cleanup, with features including named API keys, idempotent creation, and container-generation checks. Users can save workspaces to preserve files or export results before stopping; ordinary stops discard unsaved changes.
Monthly plans—Builder, Pro, and Scale—offer fixed compute allowances, start limits, and concurrency caps, with no automatic overage charges. The platform is built on Cloudflare, which runs containers in separate microVMs, and Stripe handles card details. Mainbrella also provides documentation, setup instructions, agent integration recipes, benchmark information, and a trust center to help users assess and manage their workloads
