Maine Standard Biofuels is a biorefinery that is committed to creating an abundant world without waste. They collect used cooking oil from over 1000 restaurants and food manufacturers across New England and transform it into a range of bio-based products. Through a chemical process, they convert the oil into biodiesel, bioheat, and their Wicked Strong family of cleaners.

Even the scraps are utilized as they are sent to a biodigester to be turned into renewable energy and compost. At Maine Standard Biofuels, they prioritize sustainability and localism. Their Portland biorefinery is powered by sustainable energy, and their entire fleet runs on biodiesel.

Since their establishment in 2006, they have aimed to make New England a better place by embracing the power of localism and sustainability. In addition, they are Green Leaders who are dedicated to promoting carbon reducing activities within the Great State of Maine. They believe in a cleaner and healthier environment achieved by reducing society's dependence on petroleum hydrocarbons.

Their sustainably sourced, cleaner-burning biofuel offers an immediate way for organizations to reduce their carbon footprint without sacrificing performance or significantly increasing costs. If you are looking for environmentally friendly alternatives and want to support the transition to cleaner, greener alternatives, Maine Standard Biofuels is here to help
