MainPferd

MainPferd Therapie is a horse-focused manual therapy practice founded by Jennifer Wilfling, a qualified Dorn osteopath and manual therapist for horses. Based in Hardheim-Schweinberg, Germany, the practice offers Dorn osteopathy designed to address dysfunctional vertebrae and joints through the horse’s own movement. Treatment considers the whole horse and includes correction of leg-length differences, with the aim of easing movement restrictions while minimizing strain on surrounding structures. The practice notes that some horses may benefit significantly from a single session and generally do not require a long training break afterward.

The approach is presented as supporting overall wellbeing, relieving muscle tension and pain, improving fascial mobility, and positively influencing the nervous system. Indications include preventive care, riding and bending difficulties, back problems, uneven gait or lameness, stumbling, muscular imbalance, and behavioral concerns. Jennifer Wilfling also welcomes enquiries for an informal preliminary conversation. The website advises against treatment in certain circumstances, including acute inflammation, fever, recent injuries, and some tendon or muscle injuries, and provides contact details, terms, and privacy information.
