Domaine Gayrard is a family wine estate in Milhavet, in the Gaillac appellation of southwest France, near Cordes-sur-Ciel and between Albi and Cordes. The estate farms organically and biodynamically, growing native Gaillac grape varieties on the limestone-rich soils of the Pays Cordais. Its wines reflect the local terroir and include single-variety bottlings as well as blends, with both white and red cuvées available through its online shop and delivered throughout France.
Varieties include Loin de l’Œil, Mauzac and Ondenc for whites, and Braucol, Duras and Prunelart for reds. Production uses hand-harvested grapes and indigenous yeasts, with ageing in vessels such as foudres, barrels, concrete, stainless steel and amphorae. Visitors are welcome Tuesday to Saturday for guided winery tours, tastings and vineyard walks, as well as picnics and other wine-tourism experiences.
The estate also hosts seasonal events, including concerts and farm-style aperitifs, and presents its wines at wine fairs and professional tastings in France and abroad
