Maison des Familles de Rimouski-Neigette is a community organization supporting parents and children aged 12 and under in Quebec’s Rimouski-Neigette regional county municipality. For nearly 30 years, it has helped families manage everyday challenges and foster children’s well-being and development. Its welcoming team offers practical tools, assistance and guidance to strengthen parents’ autonomy, confidence and skills.

The organization provides informative workshops for parents, discussion cafés for sharing experiences, and playful activities for children and parents to enjoy together. Families can also take part in themed events and outings, while children can explore new experiences through dedicated workshops. A safe, educational daycare service for children aged 18 months to five years gives parents an opportunity for respite. Other offerings include a toy library, room rental, individual intervention, specialized support, community-based outreach and supervised access services.

With a focus on respect, engagement and autonomy, Maison des Familles invites families to discover its activities, become members or make a donation.
