Maison MainTenir L'Espoir

Maison Main…Tenir L’Espoir is a community organization serving people affected by lymphedema, those at risk of developing it, and their loved ones in Mauricie and Centre-du-Québec, Quebec. Its mission focused on prevention, education, and support to help improve quality of life. The organization provided information and awareness activities for the public, health professionals, and decision-makers, alongside personalized accompaniment for individuals and families navigating physical or emotional challenges.

It also organized events and workshops, including talks and activities promoting physical and emotional well-being. The Maison emphasized solidarity, commitment, humanity, and empathy, offering a welcoming space for connection and social support. Following its closure on July 31, 2026, several services are now offered by the Fondation québécoise du cancer in Trois-Rivières, at 3110 rue Louis Pasteur.

These include Belle et bien dans sa peau workshops, art therapy, some yoga classes, and social coffee gatherings, with additional activities planned. Inquiries about these services can be directed to the foundation
