Mais Pelo Jornalismo (MPJ) is an initiative created by I’Max to support a stronger, more financially sustainable free press in Brazil. It provides news organizations with a technology package at no cost, helping them grow their audiences, improve revenue potential, and reduce spending on infrastructure and programming. The offer is designed for regional and specialist media, print, radio and television outlets moving online, independent digital journalists, and journalism-focused blogs.

The package includes a redesigned website, content migration, scalable hosting, cybersecurity, a news and advertising content management system, and setup of digital advertising platforms directly in the publisher’s account. Participants also receive search engine optimization support, customized analytics drawing on multiple sources, 24/7 WhatsApp assistance, and ten publication-branded email accounts with 20 GB each. MPJ draws on I’Max’s experience in press mailing, press release distribution, database governance, website development, and hosting. Through the initiative, I’Max reinvests its communication technology expertise and resources to help news publishers strengthen their digital operations and connect with a community of support and exchange.
