Makelaar Karinthië

Welcome to Makelaar Karinthië, your go-to emigration and mediation agency in Austria. With over 14 years of experience, we assist Dutch-speaking potential emigrants and facilitate connections with various real estate agents, banks, insurers, accountants, notaries, and lawyers in Austria. Our expertise extends to offering advice and information on emigration, education, work, and housing primarily in Carinthia.

While we are not real estate agents ourselves, we act as the intermediary between you and numerous real estate agents in Austria. Having lived and worked in Austria for over fourteen years, we previously managed a bed and breakfast by Lake Ossiach before transitioning to owning and renovating a 12-apartment building by Lake Wörthersee. Our recent move to Maria Rain near Klagenfurt allows us to dedicate more time to assisting emigrants.

Count on us to provide tailored advice and connect you with the right resources for your business concept, tourism trends, and market developments. Leveraging our partnerships with Austrian real estate agents, we are adept at finding suitable properties for our clients. Should you choose to engage us for mediation with a real estate agent, we offer guidance at no extra cost.

Remember, according to Austrian real estate law, the initial contact regarding an information request on a specific property determines the right to a real estate commission. Therefore, it is crucial to reach out to us first before inquiring about a property of interest. For further information, feel free to contact us during office hours.

We look forward to welcoming you to Austria. Jorien and Edgar van der Horst Jorien v. d.
