About MakerBay
MakerBay Foundation is a brand that is dedicated to empowering the next generation of innovators and creating a positive social and environmental impact. Established in 2017 by Cesar Jung-Harada, a Japanese-French educator and environmentalist, MakerBay Foundation aims to help underserved youth develop their maker skills and mindset in order to make a difference in their communities. With one of the largest makerspaces in Hong Kong, MakerBay Foundation provides a space, tools, and training for individuals to become innovators.
They also offer a comprehensive innovation curriculum and work closely with a community of scientists, artists, researchers, and experts from academia to support their impactful projects. In addition to their makerspace in Tsuen Wan, MakerBay Foundation assists in setting up makerspaces in youth centers and schools, both in Hong Kong and abroad. They believe that everyone has the potential to learn and create, and that local innovation can have a global impact
