About MakeRoom Wellington
MakeRoom Wellington is a brand that offers a range of engaging and educational programs for young people interested in STEM and Making. Their flagship program, Stem Club, encourages kids to think outside the box, approach problems creatively, and collaborate with like-minded peers. Through a variety of projects and activities, kids develop valuable skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths.
Stem Club offers a 'club' atmosphere, fostering collaboration and fun, with Engineering Challenges to help kids work together to solve problems. The sessions, which last 2 hours each, are scheduled after school and on weekends, with multiple locations in Wellington. Stem Club is open to girls and boys aged 8 to 13, with younger children accompanied by a grown-up.
With a maximum of 6 kids per instructor, each child receives personalized attention. The cost per term is $355, including all materials. Enrolment is currently open, and interested parents can contact MakeRoom Wellington for more information
