About Malabarfarmfoundation
Welcome to the Malabar Farm Foundation, a nonprofit organization established in 1993 with the aim of supporting the vision and programming at Malabar Farm State Park. As an independent private foundation, our goal is to promote the principles and ideals of Louis Bromfield in the areas of sustainable agriculture, culture, literature, and the arts. We also focus on preserving Malabar Farm and the legacy of Louis Bromfield.
Over the years, our foundation has contributed over $2 million dollars to Malabar Farm State Park, assisting with various projects and initiatives. One of our significant accomplishments was the funding of the Louis Bromfield Visitor Center, a $1. 2 million dollar project that showcases the history and beauty of Malabar Farm.
In addition to financial support, we provide resources for internships, educational programs, and materials that reach thousands of students annually. We have also co-sponsored award-winning documentaries and funded the restoration of historical markers and structures. Through our dedication and contributions, we strive to preserve and promote the rich history and natural beauty of Malabar Farm for future generations to enjoy.
