Mala Hierba Libros

Mala Hierba Libros is an independent book distribution project founded by three publishers who share a commitment to quality books, both in content and physical presentation. It brings together publishers that are not represented by large distributors or lack access to distribution, helping them reach more bookstores by pooling resources. The project promotes a more sustainable approach to distribution and aims to build direct, personal relationships with booksellers, whom it regards as an essential connection between books and readers.

Mala Hierba Libros works with independent publishers and bookstores. Publishers seeking an alternative to the terms offered by major suppliers are invited to get in touch, while booksellers can request news bulletins and stock titles from the participating publishers. Its service is grounded in careful selection of the publishers it represents and attentive communication with bookstores. Rather than treating distribution as a simple exchange of order spreadsheets, Mala Hierba Libros emphasizes collaboration, shared resources, and the bookstore as the natural home of books.
