About PATH
The Malaria Vaccine Initiative (MVI) is a program of PATH, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and improving health, especially among women and children. MVI collaborates with partners in private industry, government, and academia to develop effective malaria vaccines. Their key activities include establishing partnerships for manufacturing and producing vaccine candidates, managing intellectual property issues, conducting clinical trials, and developing innovative evaluation technologies.
MVI also advocates for increased global spending on malaria research and development. As part of PATH's global team, MVI works towards accelerating health equity and addressing complex health challenges, such as malaria.
