About MalawiLII
The Malawi Legal Information Institute (MalawiLII), established in 2009, is a vital online platform dedicated to providing free access to the legal framework of Malawi. This initiative enables users to tap into the most comprehensive digital repository of Malawian case law, legislation, and government gazettes. MalawiLII is particularly noteworthy for its partnership with the Gender and Justice Unit, a non-governmental organization focused on legal empowerment, a pivotal driver of gender equality and social justice in the region.
