The Malaysia Canada Business Council (MCBC) is a private non-profit organization that has been fostering and enhancing relationships between Canada and Malaysia since its establishment in Kuala Lumpur in 1989. Our members consist of representatives from Canadian companies operating in Malaysia, as well as Malaysian companies with ties to or interests in Canada. Notably, our high-profile members include Sun Life Malaysia, Manulife, McCain, CAE Flight & Simulator Services, and the Canadian High Commission in Malaysia.

We also have numerous Malaysian companies as members, such as Sunway Education Group, Invest Johor, Soon Soon Oilmills, and Supermax. Our main objectives at MCBC are to bring together businesses with Canadian connections, promote education, trade, commerce, and industry between Malaysia and Canada, liaise with the governments of both countries, and provide information and assistance for firms seeking to do business in Malaysia and/or Canada. Additionally, we offer a wide range of services, including business networking events, business research, internship programs, consultancy services for the Halal Industry, and business matching opportunities.
