About Malaysian Hospice and Palliative Care Council
The Malaysian Hospice Council is the national voice for the Hospice and Palliative Care movement in Malaysia. Established in 1998, it brings together hospice services from around the country to advocate and support the delivery of quality end-of-life care. The council was inspired by similar organizations in Singapore and Australia and aims to provide a platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The council offers a range of services and resources to support the practice of palliative care. They provide education and training through the Malaysian Hospice Conference, which brings together healthcare professionals and experts in the field. Additionally, they offer the MHPCC ECHO Project, which focuses on empowering caregivers and providing bereavement resources.
