Maldon Gig Rowing Club is a community rowing club formed in the summer of 2013. Its aim is to encourage as many people as possible to get out on the water, take part in rowing and enjoy racing. The club rows three Harkers Yard gigs: Record Reign, Ready and Victory, the last of which is made from fibreglass. These boats provide the focus for the club’s training and racing activities.
The club is regularly seen training at weekends on The Hythe in Maldon, near The Queens Head.
