Lesní klub Malejov is a community-based forest club that grew from friendly gatherings of parents and children in Obora Hvězda. It provides children with a welcoming setting to form their first friendships, explore the world beyond their families, and develop an appreciation for the environment in which they live. The club’s approach centers on learning and spending time outdoors, supported by a team of guides and a community of families.

Alongside its regular activities, Malejov offers summer day camps for children aged four to eight, with several week-long sessions held during July and August. The club also provides preschool preparation and invites families to learn about its daily routine and educational direction at open days. Its wider community program includes the Malejov neighborhood fair, featuring activities, crafts, food, and performances. Malejov has received certification from the Association of Forest Nursery Schools, meeting its quality standards for forest schools and clubs. It shares news, photographs, enrollment information, references, and practical details for families through its website.
