About MaLisa Stiftung
The MaLisa Foundation, founded by Maria and Elisabeth Furtwängler in 2016, aims to create a free and equal society where all genders can fully unleash their potentials. Internationally, the foundation is committed to ending violence against women and girls. In Germany, they also strive for societal diversity and the dismantling of restrictive gender roles.
The MaLisa Foundation focuses on addressing gender representation in music and media, as well as projects promoting audiovisual diversity in the music and media industry. They have organized various events and initiatives to achieve these goals, including a recent collaboration with the Museum of Communication Berlin and Kaffeehaus Dallmayr at the Fête de la Musique. With studies, events, and other activities, the foundation has made significant progress in promoting diversity and gender equality in 2022.
