About Malki Foundation UK
The Malki Foundation is a non-political, non-sectarian non-profit organization that empowers parents in Israel to care for their children with disabilities at home. Since its establishment in 2001 in memory of Malki Roth zl, the Malki Foundation has been at the forefront of supporting families in choosing home care for their children with disabilities. Unlike other countries that rely mainly on large institutions for support, the Malki Foundation believes that parents are best equipped to determine what is best for their children.
Their dedication to creating an infrastructure that promotes home care is based on research that highlights the damaging effects of institutional care on children. The Malki Foundation has made a significant impact, alleviating physical and financial hardships for over 3,700 families and providing more than 40,000 hours of paramedical therapies and 6,000 equipment loans. By enabling quality care at home, the Malki Foundation is empowering families to stay together
