Mallorca Golf Trophy e. V. is a registered golf club founded in 2019, growing from a friendly competition first held in 2013.
The club brings together 17 golfers for an annual November tournament on Mallorca, where members play across three different courses. Its distinctive “6 out of 18” format keeps the contest unpredictable: six holes from each round are selected and sealed before play, then scores on those 18 holes are calculated using net points multiplied by two plus gross points. The club also runs an independent Par-3 Challenge, awarding a separate trophy for the combined net and gross points scored on par-three holes over the three rounds.
Based around a finca in Pollença, Mallorca Golf Trophy celebrates friendship, golf and competition across different ages and handicap levels. Members can earn “stars” through tournament victories, with repeat winners receiving a double-star distinction. The club shares news about its Mallorca events, winners and related activities, including the MGT-Münsterland-Tour
